The “Great Resignation” characterized by people quitting their jobs rapidly in 2022 and 2023 is now behind us. Recent data shows that in 2024, we can expect people to leave their jobs at the same rate they were before the pandemic. However, this doesn’t mean organizations should relax on employee retention strategies. Just because not as many people are quitting their jobs at a high rate doesn’t mean they aren’t open and optimistic about potential new job opportunities.
